Virtual Design Process

Your home is your refuge. We take the health and safety of our community seriously and aim to provide our clients with the best possible customer experience. We are now offering two types of complimentary no-contact virtual consultations for our interior design services: In addition, we have also expanded our interior design services should you want to purchase products yourself, rather than through us.

Both paths start out with a virtual consultation.

  • Video Call Consultations – This is possible using Skype, Facetime, and ZOOM. Together, we will virtually tour your home and discuss your ideas.
  • Phone Call Consultations – If you prefer not to video chat, we are happy to look at pictures of your home’s interior and discuss your project over the phone.

It is important for us to get a feel for your home currently flows together and understand what you like and don’t like about your current space. It’s our ultimate goal to create spaces that reflect your taste and your lifestyle.

Interior Design Services

With our interior design services, we make the process as seamless as possible. Based on our discussions, we create a design for you that reflects your needs and tastes using products from our wide array of trusted and well-known suppliers. We’re there every step of the way from inspiration to installation. Please note that due to frequently changing business operations with our vendors across the country, delivery timelines and project logistics will be discussed over the phone.

Interior Design Consultation Only

We offer interior design consultations at an hourly rate of $150.00 With this option, you’ll be able to show us what items you’re working with, and receive expert advice based on what you want to achieve. From accessories, and decor, to spacing and paint, our design consultation can help you make the right interior design choices.

How does the process work?

Here is the strategy that I will be adopting during this period of sheltering in place:

The current situation will call for you to do a bit more “homework” to help me meet your home decor needs effectively.

  • Respond to my “New Client Questionnaire” form to gather information either by email or over the phone.
  • Take rough measurements as required.
  • Take photographs of your home, focusing on the areas that are your priorities.
  • Share inspiration photos from my portfolio, Houzz, Pinterest or Instagram

The above allows me to virtually tour your home and understand your personal goals. I will then collaborate with you to develop an action plan. We will, then, develop a “wish list” of design elements called for to accomplish your goal. I will offer a ballpark budget estimate for the project, that includes ongoing design consultation, shipping, delivery and installation and we will agree upon a target budget within that range.

How will the design be presented?

Within 10-14 days, we will come together either via Facetime or Zoom meeting or on the phone to design your home. I will offer plans, renderings, images of furnishings, fabrics, finishes to enable you to visualize options for your redesigned space. Together we will pull your home together.

How do I pay for your interior design services?

I will require a Retainer Fee that is 10% of the agreed upon budget (for example, for a target budget of $10,000, there would be a $1000 fee). Once, I receive that amount, whether using credit card or a check by mail, I will begin researching options for design elements to achieve the transformation that you long for.

After we have confirmed the design, I will prepare a written quote. This will incorporate the cost of taxes, shipping, delivery, installation. Upon receipt of a 70% down payment, your orders will be placed.

How long does the design process take?

Multiple virtual meetings might be required to move the design to completion. Our initial virtual presentation will take place within 10-14 days after receipt of the Retainer Fee. I like to meet weekly until completion.

What if I want to see fabric, rug and paint samples?

These can be mailed or delivered to your home for review and consideration.
